Silver Spring Scene News Round up

Now that I think about it, this is the first news round up since the new site has gone up.

First off, some of you may have noticed your comments not showing up; it seems the spam tracker is throwing a lot of posts in the spam pile when it shouldn’t. I’ll have to go through each one and see what’s still left if it still exists.

Like Sligo over at Silver Spring Singular, I’m under the microscope at work which has left me with little time to post. It looks like employers have now shifted gears to micromanage their employees to death. I’m open to suggestions and job offers!

College Park Runs On Duncan?

Also on just up the pike, former county executive Doug Duncan is now VP of Administrative Affairs at the University of Maryland, College Park just in time for the East Campus Development.

  1. Back when I worked in Bethesda, I tore through entries as fast as I could just so I wouldn’t get one of several supervisors on my case about it - yet somehow I updated more frequently than I do back at school.

  2. I think Park and Planning should sweep you up. They don’t recognize talent when they see it apparently. I know I would want someone like you on my team. By any chance are you interested in the financial industry?
