Always Low Prices for Montgomery, Always!

Just how silly can it get?

A continuation on my rant on the lack of Montgomery County and Maryland Flags visible/outside in Silver Spring. Surprise, surprise, Wal-Mart of all places gets the flags!

Germantown Wal-Mart gets the Flags

It’s good to know that Wal-Mart (in Germantown by the way) is a priority. The fact that somebody up there thought to put these flags up is kind of sad in the sense that nobody down here (not even the chamber of commerce) does. It’s even more sad when you see at your local Mickey D’s. We salute you! “Represent your clique!”.

  1. What’s the big deal about the flags? This rant you have is like asking Barack Obama why he doesn’t where a flag pin.

  2. Do you know of any locations where I could by a Montgomery County flag? They are harder to find than you’d think. anything online?
    Thanks

  3. I don’t know.

  4. Your rant is absolutely ridiculous. I cant believe you are complaining about that.

  5. The only thing that’s ridiculous is seeing those flags in a Wal-Mart but you can hardly find any in the largest downtown in the County. Montgomery should do a better job of promoting itself.

  6. I agree with Silver Springer. That makes two against two.

  7. three against two

  8. I’ve lived here my entire life and didnt even know MoCo had a flag, but frankly I could care less if I ever see one in person.

  9. I had never thought about the Md flag before–but I agree with Silver Springer and others. In an area where all borders seem to run together, it would be great to show some pride with Maryland flags. Sad that no one from the county or business owners have thought of that.
