Mayor Fenty and the District of Columbia have pissed off Victor B. MacFarlane, owner of D.C. United and San Francisco based MacFarlane Partners, a real estate investment firm.
Now MacFarlane is looking for a new spot to place a new soccer stadium, outside D.C. proper.

Golf Etc opens in downtown Silver Spring. According to the website this is their only store in the immediate D.C. area. Too bad Indian Spring Golf Course is now McMansionville and the Sligo course is in limbo. A golf store in Silver Spring is a good indication the that the “preps” are moving in.
