Gold rate today, silver rate today: Gold and silver prices opened on a mixed note in the nation’s major spot markets on Friday, August 12, 2022.
The opening price of 999 purity gold was 52,481 rupees per 10 grams, up 21 rupees from Thursday’s closing price of 52,460 rupees, while that of 999 purity silver was of 58,490 rupees per kg, down 210 rupees from 58,700 rupees, data available on India Bullion and the Jewelers Association (IBJA) website showed.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX), the gold contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 52,318.00 per 10 grams, down Rs 18.00 (0.03%) at 2:51 p.m. that the silver contract for September delivery was at Rs. 58,392.00, up Rs 15.00 (0.03%).
