The price of 995 or 22 carat gold fell by Rs 1360 in one week. Meanwhile, the price of 916 karat gold jumped from Rs 50,659 per gram to Rs 49,144 per 10 grams within a week. That is to say, a drop of Rs 1,515 for 10 grams was noted. Meanwhile, 18K gold fell from Rs 1,141 for 10 grams to Rs 37,006 for 10 grams on Friday from Rs 38,147 on Monday. 14k gold fell from Rs. 891 per ten grams to Rs. 28,864 per ten grams on Friday from Rs 29,755 on Monday.

Last week, gold and silver futures saw global price volatility ahead of the Federal Reserve meeting. Meanwhile, the price of 1 kg of silver is Rs 56,700 compared to the previous day. On Friday on MCX, gold futures for the October 5th expiry rose ₹22 to ₹49,334 and silver futures for the December 5th expiry closed at 56,729 ₹. On the global front, spot gold was trading up 0.75% near $1,675 an ounce.
