Gold and Silver Price Update: There is a strong rally in gold and silver prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange today. October MCX gold futures were seen trading 0.32% or Rs 167 higher at Rs 51,606 per 10 grams. September MCX silver futures are trading at 55,331 rupees per kg with a gain of 0.72% or 394 rupees. The recovery in prices is observed due to the positive signals from the world markets.
On Wednesday, gold futures closed at 51,439 rupees per 10 grams. October silver futures settled at 54,937 rupees per kg.
Gold and silver prices on the international market
On the international market, gold was trading at 0.31% or $5.48 per ounce with a gain of $1756.46 per ounce. While silver was seen trading at $19.25 per ounce with a gain of 0.69% or $0.13.
Gold and silver prices in major cities of India
According to prices published on Goodreturns website, 22 karat gold prices in Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Kerala are Rs 47,260 per 10 grams. In Delhi, Jaipur and Lucknow, the rate of 22 karat gold is quoted at Rs 47,410 for 10 grams.
Silver prices are at Rs 55,400 per kg in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Pune, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Lucknow.
