Global spot prices continued to rise by the current close with a value of $1785.8 per troy ounce. Total growth being 0.74%. This price level is 2.58% higher than the average gold price seen over the past 30 days ($1739.7). Among other precious metals, silver prices rose slightly today. Silver gained 1.21% to $26.2 per Troy ounce.
Moreover, the price of platinum showed a slight increase. Platinum, a precious metal, rose 1.37% to hit $1,073.5 per Troy ounce. Meanwhile, in India, the price of gold was ₹46921 per 10 grams on MCX, with a change of ₹140.8. In addition, the price of 24 karat gold in the Indian spot market was quoted at ₹48340 .

On MCX, India gold futures prices rose 0.3% to ₹46921 for 10 grams. In the previous session, gold was down 3.1% or thereabouts ₹140.8 for 10 grams.
On MCX, silver futures rose almost 0.86% or ₹588.6 per kg at the price level of ₹68441 per kg.
The spot price of gold today ( ₹48340) decreased by ₹140.8 from yesterday ( ₹48350), as global spot prices rose $13.06 to $1785.8 today. Following the trend of world prices, the future price of MCX saw an increase of ₹140.8 and value of ₹46921 to date.

The dollar to rupee conversion improved today to ₹74.1 compared to the previous close of ₹74.2. The fall of the dollar against the rupee could influence the price of gold today, reflecting a drop in the price of gold in the national markets.
