An increase of 0.02% in the spot price of gold in India has been observed since yesterday, bringing the value to ₹47900 from ₹47890. It was also above the previous week’s average of ₹47844.3 by 0.12%.
Although the price of gold in both the world market ($1813.7) and the Indian market ( ₹47900) saw growth, spot gold prices in the Indian market rose at a lesser rate of 0.02% compared to world gold prices of 0.3%.

Global spot prices continued to rise by the current close with a value of $1813.7 per troy ounce. Total growth being 0.3%. This price level is 4.08% higher than the average gold price seen over the past 30 days ($1739.7). Among other precious metals, silver prices rose slightly today. Silver gained 0.36% to $26.1 per Troy ounce.
Moreover, the price of platinum showed a slight increase. Platinum, a precious metal, rose 0.36% to hit $1,113.5 per Troy ounce. Meanwhile, in India, the price of gold was ₹47955 per 10 grams on MCX, with a change of ₹67.1. In addition, the price of 24 karat gold in the Indian spot market was quoted at ₹47900 .

On MCX, India gold futures jumped 0.14% to reach ₹47955 for 10 grams. In the previous session, gold was up 0.25%, or around ₹67.1 for 10 grams.
On MCX, silver futures held steady at ₹69260 per kg.
The spot price of gold today ( ₹47900) increased by ₹67.1 from yesterday ( ₹47890), as well as global spot price growth of $5.4 to $1,813.7 today. A similar trend was seen in the future price of MCX with an increase of ₹67.1 and value of ₹47955 to date.

The dollar to rupee conversion has been constant since yesterday and any fluctuation today in the price of gold would not suggest any relationship to the value of the dollar.
