Gold and Silver Price Update: Due to lack of demand and weak signals from global markets, gold and silver prices remained weak today. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, October gold futures were seen trading at 51,152 rupees per 10 grams with weakness of 0.02% or 11 rupees.
On Monday, October gold futures closed at 51,163 rupees per 10 grams. Meanwhile, September silver futures settled at 54,992 rupees per kg.
On the international market, spot gold was trading at $1738.43 an ounce with a slowdown of 0.42% to $7.28 an ounce. Silver is seen at $18.97 an ounce with a softening of 0.15% or $0.03.
Gold and silver rates in major cities across the country are spoken as follows-
According to the prices published on the GoodReturns website, the rate of 22 karat gold is quoted at Rs 47,590 for 10 grams in Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Kerala. In Delhi, Jaipur and Lucknow, the rate of 22 karat gold is Rs 47,750 for 10 grams.
Silver rates are at Rs 55,000 per kg in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Pune, Jaipur and Lucknow.
